Getting Started - Initial Purchase

“Travel Data eSIM” service is available for iPhone XS, XS Max, or XR with eSIM. An eSIM is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan from your carrier without having to use a physical nano-SIM.

The eSIM on iPhone uses Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) technology, which means that both SIMs can be active at the same time, e.g. a physical SIM card, such as au IC Card for voice and SMS, while embedded eSIM for data.
